In about one week its TJ's 30th B'Day ... Any suggestions for a gift, anyone ... ?

I would love to offer him something personalised. Keeping in mind that he's already gonna have a new watch for Xmas.

Other than that, I've had a really good week. I was given the results of my appraisal at work, and so far so good, everything perfect. We were all rated on different subjects, like :

- Attitude with colleagues / passengers / managers

- Ability to be diplomatic with Passengers when they complain

- Respecting the uniform standards

...

And I got mostly 5s out of 5 !

Its really a quiet time at the airport, awaiting for the Xmas rush. Today's my first day off and I'm already wondering how am I gonna spend the day... I've had a message from Tee yesterday, my former housemate who left to live at the hotel where she works. She asks me to come to her B'day party on the 14th of December. TJ doesn't want to go, I feel a bit embarrased because she's gonna have no one there except Johan if me and TJ don't go... What shall I do ??

I've got nothing against her, even if we had problems while we were living together, but those days are gone and I actually feel sorry for her since its gonna be her B'day and she's all on her own, with no family. As you know, being 21 is like being 18 in France, big time.

So I might go, even if I will have to put up with the fact that Johan will be there and they will obviously speak in afrikaans.

Right, I'm gonna get dressed (its 11.30 am !!) and go to do some shopping. Move Celine move !!!
